Brilliant, Strong, Mother

I could say that, "brilliant" & "strong" are extraneous, that "Mother" necessarily implies both—and you could put soap in my mouth and throw a chancleta at my head for "being smart" and I'd deserve it, because a mother deserves more than the bare minimum of regard from any son—even if it ain't hers—so now that I know better, allow me with bowed head and bouquet in hand to say: dear mother, you are brilliant and you are strong, you are beautiful and I hope you like this little poem!
