Family, Love, Fun

Movies make a great show of selling us on what love is all about. Grand gestures, running through an airport terminal to catch your amor in the nick of time—always putting in our minds ideas of greener grasses and pastures, Jones's to keep up with that elude our ever catching up to their high place on the silver screen. But in truth, though I've made a fool of myself for love in grand spectacles and will most certainly do it again, real love has more dimension... two loves might multiply into 3 and 4 and more, diapers need changing and the airplanes of soup spilling on bibs hardly go neatly into hungry teething baby mouths...it's not always red carpet glamour—but I'd take it every time. Love will live forever in your children's hearts in the memory of Sunday drives, singing, no, screaming silly songs, jokes nobody else need understand—in a word: fun. Families speak the language of love in the home, and that language is laughter—let the actors act, let families that share love share in the fun together.
