A lion came to me one night—woke me up from my slumber beneath the tree where I waited patiently for falling leaves to guide me across the savannah of time... He was close to my face. I've expected this apparition all my life. His eyes said— Creature beneath the trees, I've married an angel come to me from the place, always too far away, where the blue above meets the world beneath for an everlasting kiss. Or so, I do wish to express these fancies of love to my dear pride of my pride. I am a King. I am also a feeler and seer and knower of things of the heart, but you are my subject, you have dexterous hands and a silver tongue like rain. Politely, I demand homage and honor the great love of my life. or... "You'll bite off my hands?" No. I will cry! Now please—write!
