Purpose

Who can say what the purpose of this free ride around the sun and around the sun is? Some of us go looking for it, assuming it's "out there", assuming it looks this way or that but assured of nothing but a need, a perceived absence. Maybe. Perhaps it is out there, searching frantically for you—its lost child—on this corner and that street that you were just searching at, that you just left in a hurry, and your purpose is choking on your hasty cloud of dust. Maybe. Or maybe it's in you. Isn't it? Aren't you doing what you want to ? If you aren't, then there's one thing I can tell you: what your purpose is not. You know you know what you really want. Do it.
