I saw a man beside the road, I saw a man beside himself, I saw a stormcloud unresolved, I saw clay and dust in need of water— The man had hate and madness in his eye. The man had been wronged by one kind, was just a breath away from being run down into an early grave moments before. He said I hate them, I said you're scared—he said I need to get away from them—I said brother you need to get away He told me how it's been with clenched fists—I told him it's okay. He asked Are you a Christian? My lips testified to righteousness. I held out a flaming beating heart, I told the man it's never too late to get a second start, to live his life through Christ. I let the spirit move me as I gave him good advice, I told him he should pray and read his Bible, and wisely pick his friends. With tears in his eyes, he sent me on my way—sometimes you've got to see a man to really make a change.
