It was good while it lasted... we had our "winter" for a few months when some South Florida trickster (God bless them with another week at least of cold weather) pulled a fast one on the Sun, that brutal taskmaster in the sky, that attention clamoring selfish shimmering man-o-war with stinging rays in the sky, that big bright ball of LOOK AT ME and FEEL MY HEAT in the sky... And this joker got the better of him in November or December...I can't say when it was, and I can't prove any of this as fact, but I know it must be...yes siree! Some beautiful bastard named Jack Frost got the better of the Sun, made the Sun take a hike looking for its shadow! And now the Sun is back, and now we'll sweat and wallow for the next ten months, for Summer has come in February, the Sun is back with a vengeance!
