Singing, Soccer, Bungee Jumpin

Singing, soccer, and bungee jumping...disparate subject matter if I've ever heard of it...I can't even find a letter that all three have in common—but then some of the best poems perform metaphysical magic to draw a line between things seemingly unconnected...this poem might not find its place amongst that noble rank but get this: what if we took soccer and we just tipped it over ...the whole field on the smooth side of a cliff, or perhaps perpendicular to and beneath a bridge All of the players, and the ball, hanging and bouncing and running on air suspended by chords—chords blaring from an electric guitar and powerful voices, and, of course, bungee cords!
