Weddings

A poem they take home.

Guests share three words, a theme, or something they want to say. I write an original poem for them—or for someone they love—on elegant cardstock.

Ask about your date

Based in Miami and available for destination events. Clients cover agreed travel, lodging, meals, and related expenses.

Guest holding a personalized poem

Personal, immediate, and part of the celebration.

I bring a vintage typewriter, a display of previously written poems, and ambient lighting when the room needs it. Guests can read the poems, choose one to take home, or wait for one written just for them.

I write what the moment calls for: laughter, comfort, reflection, romance, family, or a memory someone wants to preserve. Guests are welcome to take photographs, videos, and selfies while I work.

Where it fits

Cocktail hour, reception, welcome party, rehearsal dinner, proposal, or anniversary.

What I bring

Vintage typewriter, cardstock, display poems, and a carefully arranged station.

Guest flow

About 8–12 poems per hour. Larger events can include an assistant or second poet.

Wedding FAQ

How does a guest request a poem?

They usually offer three words, a theme, a sentiment, or the name of someone they love. I take it from there.

Do guests receive the original?

Yes. Each poem is typed on cardstock and handed directly to the guest.

Can the station match the wedding design?

Yes. I can adapt the presentation and paper choices to work with the event’s visual direction.

What do you need from the venue?

A designated space is enough. Using the venue’s table, chair, and available lighting is preferable, but I can bring my own table, chair, and lamp when needed.
